3 Line Review: The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand
The Fountainhead is an easily digestible epic worth reading by anyone interested in art, business, life, love ... pretty much anything and everything (It's a big book). Quite convincing, it advocates absolute personal integrity and complete valuing of one's self over the collective -- intellectual porn for right-wingers. However, despite its well thought out ideas, its use of extreme archetypes left me longing for a story more grounded in lifelike characters -- a story where Rand's ideas would be, in my opinion, moot.
